this is for round one of BATTLE OF THE ELEMENTS;;♥
we had to make a set where we described ourselves using the items in the set and to write a paragraph. so here it goes
~converse- i'm in love with converse. they go with everything and are sooo comfortable.
~flowers- i'm a gardener. i love spending time looking after and taking care of plants. why not spread a little beauty in the world?
~the trail and the mountain- i love hiking. the only time i ever really feel comfortable is in the woods.
~the runes- i love reading about old irish folk lore and myths, and a lot of them center around wicca. no, i do not practice wicca, but the whole idea of being one with the earth fascinates me
~tie dye- i love tie dye. i have way too many tie dye shirts in my wardrobe lol.
~ripped shorts- i have a very tom-boyish style. i have to be comfortable.
~sketch pad- i love drawing, painting, crafts, anything artsy. i'm majoring in graphic design.
~books- i have an unhealthy obsession with fictional worlds. you will almost always find me reading.
 
~~~so i'm steph. i will be in my second semester of college in the fall and i'm studying graphic design. i love my family and friends and i can be quite bubbly at times, but i'm also quite shy if i don't know you. i like anything to do with art. you will normally find me drawing or reading. i'm a nature girl through and through. i'm only ever really comfortable when i'm walking through the woods. and that's pretty much me.

ugh this is such a mess, but so's my heart right now, so it's fitting.

it's been a long time since i've sat down to do a set that wasn't for a group or advertising something. i'm so out of practice lol. anyways, i'm hoping to start being active again on polyvore. i went through a bit of a rough patch this past year and stopped doing the things i love like drawing and polyvore. but i'm pulling everything together again and i want to start doing the things i love again. so expect to see a set AT LEAST once a week from me.

spring break is here, which should mean a first taste of summer, right? errrrrrr wrong. at least if you live where i do. we're expecting 6+ inches of snow by tomorrow morning. so this set is a bit of wishful thinking. this is for the Pack for Vacationland with Sperry Top-Sider contest.

it's about a rebellious teen whose parents send her on a bike tour across ireland to get back in touch with herself. she finds love, and some truths about herself, including that she is the reincarnation of an old irish heroine. it's a crappy teen read, but it's one of those books you can't help but enjoy.
